While Troy and momma rested, I walked down to the Grand Canal for some photos. Looking across the Grand Canal, I could see a lot of the area we had walked the day before.

Later that night, I convinced Troy we should venture out. Momma decided to pass and instead rest as we were leaving the next day. Troy and I walked towards St. Mark's Square and stopped at the Bauer Hotel where a jazz band was playing. We got really good seats although a bit towards the back. Troy fell in love with the singer, but I could not convince him to talk to her after the show. Poor Troy.
All of these shots are after the jazz show. We walked further along the Grand Canal and past St. Mark's Square and had drinks at the hotel lobby bar at Hotel Danieli. With the Christmas decorations still up, the lobby was brilliant with old world charm. This is when we discovered the rooftop restaurant and decided to come back in the morning for breakfast with momma.
